I'm Mohamad Mirhoseini — an SDET with six years of testing experience, mostly on UI automation, API testing, and CI/CD reliability. Forte started as a private side project because I'd been actively job hunting in Ontario and I was done with how broken the whole thing felt.

Every board I tried was the same: keyword soup, template-spray bots, and "90% match" scores that meant nothing. The tools that promised to "tailor" my résumé either made things up or charged me per application. And nobody — not a single one — would tell me the truth: "this role isn't a great fit, and here's why."

What Forte is (and isn't)

Forte is an iOS app that scans real job postings on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and across the public web, scores every posting against your actual résumé using AI, and helps you draft a tailored résumé and cover letter per application — using only facts from your own history. Then it gets out of your way so you can actually talk to humans.

Forte is not an auto-apply bot. It's not a recruiter replacement, a mock-interview chatbot, or a résumé-rewrite mill. It won't spam your domain across 600 companies, because doing that is how applicants get flagged as noise. The whole point is to send fewer, better applications.

The principles

Ranking over filtering. A filter hides roles that might surprise you. A ranker lets you decide.

Facts over fiction. Every tailored résumé and cover letter is constrained to what's actually in your profile — with a vision-review pass to catch hallucinations before the PDF reaches you.

Privacy as a feature, not a footnote. No ads, no third-party analytics SDKs, no selling résumé data to recruiters. Skill test answers stay on your device. Delete your account in one tap.

Honest about gaps. If a role doesn't fit, Forte says so — with reasons. That's more useful than a fake 90% match.

Where we're going
